2.4 GHz RF module
What does it do:
The RF Module adds a range of enhanced features, including increased operating voltage range, reduced supply current in all operating modes, higher data rate options.The Module provides a complete Controller SPI to antenna wireless MODEMs. The Module is designed to implement wireless device links operating in the worldwide 2.4 GHz ISM frequency band.
The Module has an SPI interface supporting communication between an application MCU and Module. The SPI interface supports single-byte and multi-byte serial transfers using either 4-pin or 3-pin interfacing. The SPI communications interface consists of Slave Select (SS), Serial Clock (SCK), Master Out-Slave In (MOSI), Master In-Slave Out (MISO), or Serial Data (SDAT).

About the ‘PLC’
Power Line Communication (PLC) is a technology that uses power lines to both supply electric power and as well as to transmit data.
PLC module uses the existing power line as a physical media for communication. PLC can offer a “no new wires” solution because the infrastructure has already been established. Here, the existing alternating current (AC) power wires serve as a transmission medium by which information is relayed from a transmitter or control station to one or more receivers or loads connected downstream from an AC source.
